Research
Projects where engineering meets interface design: making complex technology, from VR robot control to AR drone detection, easier to understand and use.
Schedule4ME
Oct 2026 - Present · React · Vite · Vercel
A free class schedule builder for Rowan students. When SchedulesU went offline, I designed and built a replacement to make registration less stressful. Students pick their major, required courses fill in automatically with labs paired to lectures, and they can block busy times, flip through every schedule that fits, and copy CRNs straight into Banner.
I designed it for laptop and phone, with a touch-friendly mode for blocking time, Day and Night themes, and a printable registration sheet. Class and seat data refresh every 30 minutes from Rowan’s Section Tally.

VR Robotic Arm Control
Sep - Dec 2025 · Virtual reality · Rowan research
Part of ongoing Rowan research on controlling a robotic arm in virtual reality. I designed a palm-activated pop-up panel that appears when the user turns their left hand upward.
It explains each control in a few words (movement, gripper, open/close, sensitivity, reset) so first-time users can get going without a walkthrough.

AR Battlefield of the Future
Jan - May 2025 · Microsoft HoloLens 2
A research prototype on how augmented reality can improve situational awareness in drone detection. I built an interactive AR system on HoloLens 2 with real-time object detection, bounding-box tracking and confidence-based selection.
I refined the interface and animations so bounding boxes move smoothly and panels hide when not in use, cutting visual overload and helping users spot and prioritize threats faster.

Greens Do Good VR Training
May - Aug 2024 · PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies
Built with Greens Do Good in Paterson, NJ, a nonprofit that creates jobs for people with autism. Our VR prototype turns hydroponic vertical-farming tasks, like filling flats and sowing seeds, into an accessible, step-by-step training experience.
This work is published in Springer’s Communications in Computer and Information Science (iLRN 2025).
